Dancer

I grew up dancing recreationally in Cleveland, Ohio, studied theater at Loyola University, and has been fortunate enough to — literally — wiggle my way into a bunch of cool dance projects over the last ten years in Chicago.

Most recently I’ve danced with Laboratory Dancers, Such Creatures, Nik Graves, and Mandy Milligan.

Choreographer

As a choreographer, I aspire to make weird stuff in a way that’s approachable and doesn’t feel like you need a PhD to understand it. Lately I’ve been making dances about my dead brother, math and counting, OCD, and making yourself so small that you can’t tell if you’ve disappeared altogether. Life is funny, and hard, and gutting, and exciting, and confusing. I hope my dances embody that, and I hope you relate to, and enjoy them.

I am actively involved in in-person organizing to build the world I think we deserve. Find me after a show and let’s talk about what we can do outside the studio.

Teacher

For almost a decade, I’ve been sharing my love of dance with curious adults and kids. My classes are perfect for beginners who want to try new things, have fun, and even fail, in a low stakes environment.
